The Practice

About Us

We are a busy general practice of approximately of 10,900 patients located in central Hebburn. Our clinical team comprises of 5 GPs, and 3 GP registrars, supported by 2 Advanced clinical practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses and 2 Trainee Nurse Associates/Health Care Assistants

Our practice has boundaries for acceptance of patients; before asking to register please think carefully that the distance from your house to the practice is conveniently reached to take advantage of our services. Our boundary roughly covers Hebburn up to Bill Quay Bridge and as far as the Albert Road traffic lights. We also accept patients as far as York Avenue roundabout.

Disabled Access

The Glen Primary Care Centre has been designed with the disabled in mind and wheelchair facilities are an integral part of the building as well as an induction loop for the hard of hearing.

There is a lift included in the building and Disabled parking bays at the rear of the building.

Surgery Parking

There are a limited number of parking spaces including a number of disabled spaces for those who have mobility problems.

To access the car park please press the buzzer at the barrier for entry. Access is at the rear of the building. There is a free Municipal Car Park across the road from the surgery available for parking.

Government have announced we are moving into the delay phase of #COVID19. This means, if you have a new cough OR a high temperature (37.8 degrees or higher), but generally feel well, you do not need to contact anybody. You do need to self isolate for 7 days.
